hey, i’m christian.

like you, i am a storyteller. over the last year or so, my stories have taken the form of rhythm and rhyme. poetry, for me, has been a way to put words to my wandering thoughts and share about the love i know. i’d like to share it with you. (i also wanted to be a rapper when i was little, and i figure this is the closest i’ll get to spitting rhymes.)

i live in nashville, tn. and work for an amazing organization to show love to children living on the streets of nairobi (check it out).

my 28 years of this life have granted me the privilege of calling many places ‘home’ and many people ‘friend.’ those places and those people have taught me to look for light and move towards meaning.

maybe you hear it in a poem, or a song, or a rainstorm, but scattered around you are love letters with your name on them. i hope you find one here.
